The success of Flip Doodle as a resource for creatives, teachers and parents led me to create a brand new experience – Flip Doodle Deluxe. There are 72 cards, 528 words, 50 kinds of challenges and pretty much infinite combinations of creative prompts possible. All in one solid little carrying case.

Yup, I’m all-in on doodling: if you haven’t noticed, this whole idea of doodling is really important to me. It’s not just about the nonsense of it all, even though that’s my favorite reason to doodle. It’s about stretching our creativity. Growing our capacity for generating ideas. Seeing things differently. When we get good at those things, so many possibilities start happening!

Everyday artists and creative pros – For me, doodling is mostly about discovery. Wandering. Exploring. I think most doodlers do so for fun, but sometimes we want to take things to another level. Flip Doodle Deluxe helps unlock new possibilities for people who like to draw, no matter how much or for what purpose, business or personal.
Discerning parents – Promoting creativity within children is something most parents would agree is important. But what if creativity could be a source of entertainment? Sure, Flip Doodle Deluxe gives parents something fun to share with their children. But the real joy comes in seeing a child focus on their creations for hours. Hours they’ll spend away from intrusive ads, marketing spin and toxic online culture.
Teachers and professors – In talking with educators, they tell me they’re looking to encourage conversations about creativity and enable collaboration between students. Flip Doodle Deluxe is informal, comical and customizable fun. Easily carried and shareable too.

Playing with ideas
That’s what Flip Doodle and Flip Doodle Deluxe are really all about. With creativity-as-entertainment, there are no losers. But there are winners. The act of exploring new ideas and making them happen means we’re able to use those ideas for ourselves or to share with others. So, I guess that means it’s a win… win.
I’m also inspired by the potential for connecting in-person or virtually with other artists through Flip Doodle Deluxe. There’s all sorts of possibilities. Live drawing events, fun product discovery sessions, games within the game!
One thing I’ve seen over the years is how expressing our creativity within self-imposed limitations can lead to all sorts of amazing opportunities. I’m excited for you to get your hands on this card deck so you can see where it’ll take your imagination!
