GIGACHEF Showdown

After two years of development time, our little creative studio is ready to announce a new project. Hypercosmic GIGACHEF Showdown is our next game!

World of Rynaga

World of Rynaga

Since early 2000, I've been publishing work for an ongoing project called World of Rynaga. The project involves stories, games, art, and cartography pieces such as these maps.

The Veratar map took five years to finish, surviving a computer crash along the way. Etherna and Luthena each took about two years. These creations anchor the original stories and characters which come to life in the books and games I publish.

I offer print versions by request or at in-person events. For now, they're available as digital downloads at my shop.

Iconica

Iconica

I released Iconica in 2007 because I wanted to make a game for my friends and I. Over time, people from across the US to Japan, Germany, New Zealand, and beyond have supported its growth.

Iconica features all sorts of colorful characters from a fictional world I call Rynaga. Each character has its own actions and abilities. Players select three of their favorites and face off in a contest of strategy blended with a twist of chance.

What started as a personal project is now a cornerstone of my portfolio, helping demonstrate my initiative, range of creative skill, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Iconica Travels

Iconica Travels

Building on the battle system in Iconica, Iconica Travels introduces players to more role-playing game elements, such as completing quests, interacting with the environment during their journey, and customizing their characters.

Iconica Travels – The Hiveland Expedition is an expansion set for the base Iconica game. Creating this project involved outlining and writing the story, illustrating 111 individual cards, and building a complete questing system from scratch which makes use of existing Iconica characters.

Written in Dust

Written in Dust

Written in Dust is a personal project currently in the writing phase. I created this digital illustration entitled "Neon Feline", which serves as part of a collection of concept art. This nameless cat is an extra-mysterious creature in the story, possessing an advanced measure of intelligence and strange powers of persuasion. Maybe it's the eyes.

AIGA100 Chairs

AIGA100 Chairs

To commemorate AIGA's (American Institute of Graphic Arts) Centennial Celebration, each chapter of this organization across the U.S. was invited to customize a chair design for a gallery showing in New York. It was an honor to be asked to create the AIGAAZ chair.

My approach to illustration is first and foremost geometric by design. I enjoy the interplay of positive and negative space, as well as exploring dynamic color pairings.

Daft Punk Tribute Serigraph

Daft Punk Tribute Serigraph

Like most people, music is a big part of my life. So, working on side projects usually leads to music at some point. This is a tribute piece I created to celebrate Daft Punk's release of their latest album Random Access Memories.

I worked with a local shop to produce 50 of these screen printed posters, featuring electric blue and hot pink inks. They were all purchased practically overnight. While that screen shop has since closed, I do create a few of these prints here and there as open edition digital reproductions.
